the wineries
The
grapes used to make Romance wines are sourced from small wineries in the Rivadavia and La Rioja regions of Mendoza, Argentina.
It is becoming
abundantly clear that the Mendoza region of Argentina enjoys ideal grape-growing
conditions: plenty of sun, a wide temperature range from day to night, little
rain and no humidity, and a clean, fresh water source from the Andes Mountains.
Romance
red is a fresh, clean wine with intense ruby red color and fruity aromas
of plums and blackberries with light notes of vanilla and chocolate. Medium
bodied with soft, mature tannins and exceptional balance on the palate, it has
a distinctive and long pleasant finish. Romance is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon,
Malbec and Bonarda. Current release is from the 2007 vintage with 13.5% alcohol.
Romance
white is a young, fresh wine, pale straw in color, with floral and light
citrus aromas, fruity on the palate with a delightfully dry mouth feel and finish.
Romance is a blend of Chardonnay and Torrontes. This current release is from the
2008 vintage with 13% alcohol.
