the winery
The
grapes used to make Romance wines are sourced from Finca la Libertad
("Liberty Farm"), part of the internationally recognized award-winning
Tittarelli family winery that was established in 1915. The wines are
made and bottled onsite, overseen by a small team of highly qualified professionals,
technicians and workers who continue the legacy of three generations of the
Tittarelli family.
Tittarelli is part of Argentinean wine making history: it is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Argentina. It was founded in 1915 by Enrique Tittarelli, who started the company when he arrived from Italy. He and his family devoted their energy and work to the land, then the wineries, and later the desire to transcend beyond the limits of their land, becoming pioneers in the field of wine exports. Today, Tittarelli owns 1,800 hectares of vineyards at the foothills of the Andes Mountains.
It is becoming
abundantly clear that the Mendoza region of Argentina enjoys ideal grape-growing
conditions: plenty of sun, a wide temperature range from day to night, little
rain and no humidity, and a clean, fresh water source from the Andes Mountains.
